Local Hero has been around a long time and remains highly competitive both offshore and inshore. She finished fourth overall in PHS in the 2012 Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race and finished third in PHS Division 2 in the 2012 Rolex Sydney Hobart. She was forced to retire from last year’s Gold Coast race, so Peter Mosely and crew are looking forward to better things in the 2014 Land Rover Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race.

Mosely’s other results include divisional fifth in the 2010 race to the Gold Coast, won PHS overall in the 2010 Brisbane to Keppel Yacht Race, second in division at Airlie Beach Race Week and third in division in the 2010 Rolex Sydney Hobart.
