Enjoy watching the start of the 2025 Noakes Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race on Saturday 26 July from amidst the action.
The Noakes Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race kicks off in one of the most spectacular settings in world sailing, Sydney Harbour. On the final Saturday of July, the fleet will gather in the harbour before charging through the Heads and setting a course north to the Gold Coast. Whether you're a sailing fanatic or just keen to experience the excitement, there are plenty of ways to be part of the action.

Pick Your Vantage Point – Headlands and Bays
Sydney’s headlands and foreshore offer incredible natural grandstands for spectators. Pack a picnic and head to South Head, North Head, Hornby Lighthouse or Watsons Bay for breathtaking views as the fleet makes its way out of the Harbour. Early risers can even catch the boats as they prepare at the CYCA and make their way to the start line.
