Stampede is an Inglis design and was built by original owner Gary Saxby. She is well known, competing in many east coast races since her launch in 1996. With current owners Jon Lattimore and Michael McDonald, she achieved 34th on line honours and 5th in division in the 2015 Sydney Gold race. Stampede has spent the last four seasons competing in races out of LMYC, NCYC and RMYC Toronto, introducing many new sailors to the sport and winning her division in the LMYC Summer Series 2016. Stampedes crew for this race include some experienced campaigners as well as some first timers.
