Twin brothers Marc and Louis Ryckmans sailed PMA Yeah Baby to 15th overall in the Land Rover Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race last year, divvying up the duties between them. The legal eagles followed up with a 34th overall and fourth in Division 1 in the 2014 Rolex Sydney Hobart and enjoy each other’s company so much, they work together and even share the same watch when at sea. They purchased the yachtfrom Rod Jones earlier last year – she is a revamp boat using a 2000 designed Welbourn 50, combined with the keel, rudder and deck from Warren Johns’ famous 1989 IOR 50 footer, Heaven Can Wait. In the past, the Ryckmans’ have won the Sydney 38 One design division of the Gold Coast Yacht three times with a former Yeah Baby – 2004, 2007 and 2009.
