A lovely and comfortable family cruiser/racer, Painkiller Forte is one of three Southport Yacht Club entries ready to take on the rest of Australia in the Land Rover Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race. Owners Rod and Diane West, whose campaign is called ‘Painkiller Sailing’, say their boat is “sailed by a bunch of scurvy misfits from the Southport Yacht Club.” Let’s hope by race end they won’t need the painkillers their lovely boat is named for.
