This is the first time JustADash has entered the race and will no doubt give the other Beneteaus and other similar size boats a run for their money given it and Phil Dash’s track record. A regular in MHYC and other local events, in early June, Dash finished runner-up under IRC in the Gascoigne Cup, emulating his result of the previous year. In March he dominated to win IRC Division 2 at the Sydney Harbour Regatta and in February took out the IRC and PHS double in the Milson’s Cup. He also won the 2014/2015 Grant Thornton SOPS series in which he finished second overall in the previous season and won Division 2 of the SSORC last November. Other wins include IRC overall in the 2013 Club Marine Pittwater & Coffs Harbour Regatta. Like the victorious Melbourne Cup racehorse of the same name, JustADash is a thoroughbred and will be a threat.
