Craig Neil’s Elena Nova emerged on the Australian scene in April 2014 when she finished fifth in Class B of the Australian IRC Championship at Newcastle. Neil went on to sail a handful of races in the 2014 Land Rover Winter Series and won two of them in Division A1. Her main rivals will be the likes of Anger Management, Occasional Coarse Language Too and Swish. On paper, this looks to be a quick yacht, and Elena Nova’s skipper says crew work and the boat’s reaching speed will hopefully be the winning formula.
