Calibre last pointed her nose north in this 384 nautical mile race in 2011, but retired, so the crew are back to complete some unfinished business. Beforehand, Richard Williams and company concentrated on sailing in Sydney 38 One-Design events for seven seasons. Calibre took part in the recent Land Rover Winter Series and came away with third place overall, outdoing all but one other Sydney 38, so boat and crew are in form.
