Missing last year’s Land Rover Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race, nevertheless Ian Creak and co. have contested a few in the past, with a best result of 22nd overall in the 2013 race, which was tailor-made for the Beneteaus. Ausreo contested her first Hobart races in 2013 and 2014. Claiming second place in ORCi Division 3 in 2013, last year it finished 41st overall, 17th in Division 3 and 19th under ORCi. Creak has assembled a crew from amongst his regulars, led by Jim Lelliott, for the ride north on this yacht originally campaigned as Caliban II.
