A regular in the race, and a solid performer in coastal races, Dennis Cooper sailed Amante to 37th overall in the 2014 race, and third in a tough Division 4, which was won by L’Altra Donna with 2014 Rolex Sydney Hobart winner Wild Rose second.  Ironically, this top three were top three the previous year, only the order of the top two was reversed with Wild Rose taking honours. Cooper is a regular in CYCA events, sailing to seventh overall in the 2014/2015 OPS, with a fourth in ORCi, and third in Division 2 of the Grant Thornton Short Ocean Pointscore in both PHS and IRC. Cooper also sailed to eighth overall and second in Division 2 of the 2015 Pittwater Coffs race after finishing divisional second in the 2013 race.
