Previously known as Stark Raving Mad, Black Jack is a near sistership of the highly successful Wild Oats X and they have met on the race track on many occasions. Owner Peter Harburg and his champion skipper Mark Bradford have had solid results in offshore racing including line honours and overall IRC handicap honours in the 2009 & 2008 Brisbane-Keppel race, setting a new race record in 2009 of 29 hours 24 minutes 11 seconds. She finished 6th across the line in Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race 2008 and took back to back line honours in the Brisbane to Gladstone race (2009 & 2010).
