A pretty X-50 design, Wax Lyrical finished fifth overall under PHS in last year’s race. Les Goodridge had this Danish design X-50 cruiser/racer built for himself three years ago and has put it to good use in various events such as the CYCA’s Blue Water Pointscore in which he finished 15^th overall including finishing Bird Island Race as top point scorer. He also competed in the Ocean Pointscore Series in which he was ninth overall. Like many others, the Wax Lyrical crew polished up crew work with the recent Land Rover Winter Series in which they finished third overall in Division A2.
