Recently purchased by Kim Jaggar, this 34-footer from Melbourne took out overall first place under the IOR handicap system in the rugged 1988 Sydney Hobart, then Victoria’s second only overall win in the ocean racing classic. Illusion returned to the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race after a 22 year break in 2010, under then owner Jonathon Stone, and was the third last boat to cross the finish line and finished fifth in her division.
