Anthony Lyall purchased this boat in late November 2011, making the step up to grand prix racing from his old warhorse Valheru, a modified Elliott 13. In last year’s Rolex Sydney Hobart, Cougar II finished 13th on line, 11th overall and 6th in IRC Division 1. The boat’s previous best result includes a second overall in the 2008 Rolex Sydney Hobart.
