Past Commodore of the Lake Macquarie Yacht Club, Graeme Hall’s three year old Beneteau First 40 Close Halled made her ocean racing debut in the 2010 Audi Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race and placed second in IRC Division 3 in last year’s race. In the 2011 Pittwater to Coffs Harbour Race, Close Halled finished third overall and second in IRC Division 2, and finished second in IRC Division 2 in this year’s race. Hall is hoping the boat continues to deliver pleasing results.
