Breakthrough, previously sailed as Chancellor under former owner Ted Tooher, was purchased by medical research academics  Jonathon Stone and Mat Vadas earlier this year to replace their Davidson 34 workhorse, Illusion. They are putting together a strong team to compete in the east coast ocean races. It is hoped that their strong experimental design skills will be supplemented by favorable winds.
