Mortgage Choice Rumba was launched in 2002 by co-owners Robert Carr, Stephanie Cook and Kerry Burke. Based at MHYC Rumba has been a regular competitor in the MHYC Inshore Series and CYCA Audi Winter Series. Her best result to date has been a win in the PHS Division for the 2005 Savills Championship; a second in PHS Division 2 in last year’s Audi Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race and a 2nd in Division D in the Audi Winter Series 2008. Rumba also previously placed fifth in PHS Division 2 in the 2009 Audi Sydney Gold Coast Yacht Race and has competed in a number of category 2 & 3 races in recent years.
