Amante was launched in 2006 and is the second Australian Sydney 36CR.  Dennis Cooper has been a regular participant in the northern races with a previous Sydney 36 by the same name.  Since taking ownership of the new Amante she has been a consistent campaigner in the CYCA Ocean Pointscore and Grant Thornton Short Ocean Pointscore series.  Amante’s best results include a second in IRC Divsion 3 in Audi Sydney Offshore Newcastle Yacht Race 2009, second in division in the 2007 Audi Sydney Southport yacht race, winning the 2006/07 CYCA’s SOPS Autumn Pointscore Series on PHS and the 2007 Gascoigne Cup.
