Rod Jones’s Archambault 35 is currently leading the Audi IRC National Championship heading into the third event of the four part series. Launched in 2006 and sailed by the Oxygen Sailing Team from south east Queensland, there is plenty riding on a good result north for Mooloolaba based Jones and his crew. Alegria finished 1st in IRC Division 2 at Skandia Geelong Week and 1st in IRC Division A at the Audi Sydney Harbour Regatta, the combined result giving the boat top points for the first half of the inaugural Audi Championship.
