Currently we are experiencing SW winds 10-15 knots in relatively smooth waters with clear skies making it another great way to start the day's sailing.

After some light and variable wind conditions overnight off Smoky Cape, where we were drifting for several frustrating hours, the south westerly flow finally settled in at a consistent 10-15 knots early this morning, allowing us to resume a broad reach along the coast passing Coffs Harbour and the Solitary Islands group.
 
We are now doing boat speeds of around 8 knots and look forward to a late evening, early Tuesday morning arrival at Southport.
