This 50 foot downwind racer, designed by Jim Inglis and Iain Murray, has contested many ocean races with the previous and current owner, CYCA Commodore Geoff Lavis.

The Melbourne to Osaka record holder, UBS Wild Thing has also notched up 5 Sydney Mooloolaba Races, 3 Pittwater to Coffs Harbour races and 3 Sydney Gold Coast races with her best results coming in the Sydney Gold Coast - a 1st on PHS in the 2002 race and a 3rd in 2003. Geoff and wife Pip have also enjoyed success in the CYCA’s Ocean Pointscore Series.
