This modified Murray 37 claimed overall IRC victory in the Coffs Harbour Series last year finished 3rd overall and 1st in division in this year’s series. After selling More Witchcraft, skipper Bruce Staples joined forces with Jim King’s Dark & Stormy and the two skippers proceeded to cut and paste, adding a Sydney 38 rig and a Sydney 41 keel but keeping the original rudder and crew. Best result in the Gold Coast Race was a 1st in division in 2001.
