Namadgi is an 18 month old Bavaria 44 owned by the Canberra Ocean Racing Club, a syndicate of owners formed 17 years ago, and the seventh yacht to be campaigned by the Club. The Sydney Gold Coast Race will be Namadgi’s first ocean race and will be used to prepare the yacht and crew for this year’s Rolex Sydney Hobart.
